Quality Inn Halifax Incorporates EnCom Alternative Energy Advanced Solar Heating

Waverley, NS – April 16, 2009  – EnCom Alternative Energy Solutions Ltd,
the leading provider of evacuated-tube solar hot water systems in Atlantic
Canada successfully implemented their carbon reducing and oil saving 
technology at the Quality Inn, Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

EnCom provides complete solar hot water systems for residential and
commercial environments. These can be used for domestic hot water needs as
well as space heating. Advanced evacuated tube technology combined with
custom designed solar heating tanks provide hot water heating in up to -50
degree weather.

The Quality Inn Halifax Airport hotel is reducing their annual fuel usage by
11,000 liters of oil or $9,000 per year. Eliminating their carbon footprint
by more than 31 tons of C02 is another key benefit. With government rebates
of 40%, a ROI (payback) is achieved within approximately 5 years. 

The addition of this system is a major step towards making the hotel green,
