Solar
- How Our System Works
THERMO-DYNAMICS LIFELINE -C
1. Evacuated
tube, solar collector modules absorb sunlight and converts it to
heat.
2. Heat
is transferred to the solar fluid housed in the copper pipes within
the solar collector tubes
3. The
solar fluid in the heat pipes turns to gas and rises to the end of
the heat pipe at the top of the solar module.
4. The
heat is transferred to the closed loop glycol-water mixture, which
circulates between the solar tank heat exchange coil and the top of
the collector module.
5. Solar
heated water is stored in the storage tank until water is drawn.
6. The
clients water heater increases the temperature of the solar
pre-heated water, if necessary.
7. The
energy required to heat water is significantly less when water is
preheated by the solar
collectors.
8. Water
is circulated between the collector and the tank powered by a
30-watt pump.
